lesson10.png

1 John 2:15  What are you told not to love?
1 John 2:16  Why are you
not to love the world?
1 John 2:17  What
will happen to all the things of this world?

Colossians 3:1-2
Carefully
understand what The Bible says is above.

1 John 5:7
The
Person of God is above.

Mark 12:30
God is seeking a
love-relationship with you.  God is saying to you now, “Will you seek me . . . will you love me with all of your heart, soul, mind and strength?”  See Isaiah 55:6.

Psalm 119:89
The Word of God is
in Heaven above.

Philippians 2:9-11
His Name is
above every name.

Acts 4:12
There is no other Name whereby we may be saved.  His Name is certainly
exalted.

Psalm 138:2
But
His Word is exalted above His Name.

There is a
difference in knowing someone’s name, knowing about someone and knowing them personally.  God is saying, “Will you seek to really know Me?”

1 John 2:12-14
Those in the spiritual father stage have
grown to know God.  You are not to just know the Bible; you are to know your Father.

The
Throne of God is above.
Three times in the Bible, God brings someone up to Heaven to
see His Throne.

Revelation 4:1-6, 9-11
God is
always worshipped at His Throne.

John 4:23  God
seeks worshippers.

The
Family of God is above
The Bible speaks of the
family of God in heaven above and the family of God on the earth.
Ephesians 3:14-15

When you lead people on the earth to Christ and
disciple them - you are growing the family of God. God is saying to us, “Will you seek to make disciples?”
